(Repels Water While Absorbing Oil)
Petroleum sorbents repel water while absorbing oil and petroleum-based liquids from oil spills and effluent discharges. Sorbent material is secured by UV-resistant netting. Built-in attachment clips at each end of the boom allow the booms to be linked together, overlapping and helping to prevent seepage between segments. Single boom absorbs approximately 20 gallons per boom. Double boom absorbs approximately 10 gallons per boom.
